Ashley Dalton MP for West Lancashire visited The Acorns School on Friday 22nd March. Ashley met with the Governors and Headteacher Mrs Hodson. She spoke to several members of staff, including the Safeguarding team lead Miss Melling and Careers lead Mrs Stephenson. Her visit finished with a discussion with several students including a debate on democracy and how to become an MP. Pupils engaged well in the discussion and are keen to learn more around this subject area.
